Soroptimist Intl. of SCV 12th Annual Bras for a Cause: September 27
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita Valley (www.siscv.org) is presenting its 12th Annual “Bras for a Cause 2015: Your Support is Sweet” event on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at the Bridgeport Clubhouse in Valencia from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will consist of an auction of custom-designed theme bras and items for raffle. This year’s dynamic and empowering speakers are Dan Sterkel, Janine Jones and Andrea Standley. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center. Pink Ribbon Month: October 1-31
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, everyone is invited to wear a pink ribbon during the month of October in honor of or in memory of someone they love. Pink Ribbon lapel pins can be purchased from Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s gift shop, the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation offices and the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center. Color Me Mine Art Center Valencia: October 1-31

Results Fitness “Think Pink” Shakes: October 1- 31

Cosmetic Concepts Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser: October 1-31
Cosmetic Concepts Skin & Day Spa is donating $1 for every Permanent Makeup Client done by Cathy Isaacs, “The Permanent Makeup Specialist” during the month of October. This donation will also be matched dollar for dollar by Curt Kravitz of Bay Equity and Kathy Watterson of SCV REMAX. The Carole Hunt Memorial “Bingo or Bust”: October 21
Come enjoy a night of Bingo and great appetizers during this special fundraiser from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. benefitting the Breast Imaging Center at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. The Carole Hunt Memorial “Bingo or Bust” will be held at the Henry Mayo Education Center, Rooms 4 to 7, 23803 McBean Parkway, Valencia, 91355.  Buy-in: only $35 prepaid and $45 at the door, and includes two cards and refreshments.
