Wilk Honors D’Wilfri as Small Business of the Month
Assemblyman Scott Wilk recognized D’Wilfri DanceArt & Entertainment as the first Small Business of the Month in his district.
Each month, the Assemblyman will vhonor a business that has been in operation at least 3 years, brings a positive activity to the city, exercises outstanding business practices and gives back to their community. The first business to be recognized was D’Wilfri DanceArt & Entertainment.
Owners Willy Arroyo and Ingrid Blanco have been successfully in business since 2009. Santa Clarita Mayor Marsha McLean attended to celebrate this Santa Clarita business.
“We are happy to receive the Business of the Month the first time Assemblyman Wilk is doing this, and be part of this historical moment,” Arroyo said. “Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us. Never dream with limits; remember limit is just the sky. Follow your dreams, and be positive. The key is to believe in yourself and move forward.”
Blanco was also thankful for the recognition.
“I want to thank Assemblyman Wilk for giving us the recognition,” she said. “Thanks to our students. This couldn’t be possible without them. I’m happy because this is what I love to do; this is my passion, and I don’t see myself in anything different than motivating and coaching people through dancing.”
The next business will be recognized in the San Fernando Valley. The 38th Assembly District encompasses Simi Valley, the northern section of the San Fernando Valley and most of the Santa Clarita Valley.
