ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Without a degree or college education Scott Spackey became a certified addiction treatment counselor and began a private practice counseling center which is in its twelfth lucrative year. Without even a high school diploma or college degree he got his high school equivalency diploma and then got legally certified in addiction treatment. Within three years of starting his practice it was earning over $180 a year.
Before this he was involved with a notorious, organized, Los Angeles counterfeit and methamphetamine ring in the 90s.
Scott provides keynote speeches at recovery conventions, provides workshops, authors several books, is a monthly contributor to a Los Angeles magazine and has appeared on Los Angeles TV and radio. He mentors and trains other addiction counselors and still maintains his private practice and is the author of Project Addiction—The Complete Guide to Using, Abusing and Recovering from Drugs and Behaviors and A Stone’s Throw—Memoir of a Dope Fiend, now in film development.
