Assistance League Santa Clarita is on a mission to make a difference in the lives of families in our community. Our 100 percent, volunteer organization currently has several programs that directly help people right here in the SCV. Assistance League Resale is the heart and soul of our fundraising efforts.
• Operation School Bell® our signature program, provides new clothing and shoes to elementary through high school children in need. Each year over 2,500 children, referred by school district personnel, are assisted by this program.
• Teddy Bear Patrol provides a soft, cuddly teddy bear to comfort a child who has experienced a traumatic event. Our bears are distributed locally by the California Highway Patrol, Sheriff’s department, fire stations, Domestic Violence Center, Valencia Surgical Center and Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital’s emergency room.
• Family Ties provides home cooked meals, birthday gifts and treats to the residents in convalescent hospitals and homebound seniors.
• Board Buddies was created and designed to build character, social skills and promote friendship with local school-age children. Through the use of board games, this after-school program helps develop math, language and problem solving skills.
• icare for kids is a new program that provides eye exams and eyeglasses for students in need in Santa Clarita. It provides a new beginning for students who have struggled with schoolwork due to poor eyesight.
• UkeALadies where members play instruments and sing to provide fun entertainment to the Santa Clarita Valley community.

Assistance League Resale is located at 24364 Main Street in downtown Newhall. We are open Monday and Wednesday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are happy to take your gently used donations. Tax receipts are provided upon request.
