40 Under Forty Is Better Than Ever! Save the date for Friday, September 23

JCI Santa Clarita is excited to announce the 2016 40 Under Forty Awards on Friday, September 23, held at a new location on the beautiful outdoor Event Lawn of Valencia Country Club.  Bringing the community’s emerging and prominent leaders together, this year’s event is back and better than ever.
Each year, forty of Santa Clarita’s top leaders under age 40 are recognized at a special gala event.  Nominees come from across the business and non-profit communities and go on to lead in their prospective community roles.  Winners are selected by a panel of respected business and community leaders.
Co-chairs Tiffany Grummer and Missy Carter are heading up the event this year, which is held in partnership with The Magazine of Santa Clarita and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce.
“I am very excited to be chairing this event for the second time, and I’m even happier to be chairing the event with Missy because this event is what brought us together in 2014,” Tiffany said.  “Through meeting Missy, I was able to get my dream job as the Director of Catering and Special Events at Valencia Country Club.  This award is so meaningful for so many people, but for me, it literally changed my life – I am so grateful!”

JCI Santa Clarita, also known as the Jaycees, is a local chapter of the Junior Chamber International.  We are a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs with nearly 200,000 members aged 21-40.  We help run major events in the Santa Clarita Valley, including providing volunteers for the Evening Under the Stars Gala, SCV Wine Fest and Taste of the Town.  We also help run a 5 and 10k for the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund.
