Event Offers Choices to Moms, Benefits to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

 The 2nd Annual North LA County Maternity and Baby Show connects women and growing families with organizations and businesses who want to be your choice for maternity and family care information, opportunities, products and services.
With free admission and free parking, the event is scheduled for Sunday, July 10, at the Hyatt Regency Valencia and Santa Clarita Conference Center, at 24500 Town Center Drive, at the corner of McBean Parkway and Town Center Drive, he event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The show includes:
•  Exhibit area featuring organizations and businesses offering services, products and community resources
•  Free 3D Ultrasound Imaging by Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital
Mommy and Baby Boutique with new and gently used maternity and baby items, hosted by Children’s Orchard
•  Kid’s Zone by Gymboree with games, activities and entertainment for young children
•  Free kids photo ID Cards by New York Life
•  Boardroom Sessions on topics that include nursing/lactation, maternity/paternity laws, Zika Virus and maternity health insurance benefits.
•  Freebies and special offers from exhibitors, plus prize drawings with many prizes worth $50 or more and a Grand Prize of up to 400 California Super Lotto Plus Quick Pick Plays. Someone may win over $7 Million.
“We are pleased to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Kim and Steven Ullman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital,” announced Gary Buterbaugh the show’s producer.  Opened in June of 2012, the 11-bed, 4,369-square-foot neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is led by a board-certified neonatologist. In state-of-the-art private rooms, Henry Mayo’s Neonatal Care Team provides round-the-clock individualized, expert care and monitoring for newborns with specialized healthcare needs.
