Sip, Stroll & Savor the Sounds The Wine Affair celebrates 10 years
The Wine Affair, sponsored by Soroptimist International of the Greater Santa Clarita Valley and Comfort Keepers In-Home Care, celebrates their 10th anniversary on Sunday, October 16 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Town Center Drive. You will be treated to new venues, additional food and drink vendors and, as always, fabulous music from some of the best local bands in the Santa Clarita Valley.
“We are working hard to make the 10th anniversary of the Wine Affair the best ever!” said Melanie Meyer, event chair for the Wine Affair and certified financial planner with Thrivent Financial. “We want to create a memorable experience, something the Santa Clarita Valley community will continue to look forward to year after year. The best part about this event is that a portion of the proceeds will go to support women and girls in our own Santa Clarita Valley. Last year, proceeds from The Wine Affair helped to distribute nearly $53,000 to women and girls in the Santa Clarita Valley.”
All tickets will be general admission, which will give you access to all venues, for $65 per person. In addition, you will be able to purchase raffle tickets to enter your name into one of many luxury gift baskets valued at $250 or more. Back by popular demand will be a Wine Pull, where you are able to purchase a bottle of wine valued at $30 or more for only $20! What a deal!
Here are just a few of the participants (updated at the time of press): Wolf Creek Brewing Co., Fireman’s Brew, Mystic Hills Vineyard, Nugguciett Cellars, CPB Winery, Pinot’s Palette, Valencia Wine Co., Solita’s Tacos & Margaritas, Salt Creek Grille, The Vines, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Culinary Wonders, Persia Lounge, Los Ruizenores, Parashars Indian Kitchen, Bonefish Grill, Kokalita, Pottery Barn, Ro Ma Jewelry, Entourage Hair Studio, and music by The Grizwalds, Fahr West Sessions, The Will Call Band, Dole|Humphries, Hagen Jazz, Cellar Ratz, Pat Nason, Soul Purpose, Meridian, Uncle Sam’s Army, GRIT…and a few more surprises!
