The Tastes of Mexico at El Trocadero Mesquite Grill & Cantina

by | Jun 27, 2017 | Old Town Newhall

“El Trocadero Mesquite Grill & Cantina is anything but typical Mexican food,” say owners Raul and Dora Bojorquez. The authentic Sonoran cuisine features mouth-watering steaks and a variety of specialties you just won’t find at an ordinary Mexican restaurant. Raul was introduced to the industry by his parents who have been running a successful restaurant in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico for 55 years. Bringing this dedication and experience to the Santa Clarita Valley, El Trocadero uses the finest ingredients to create memorable, fresh dishes with a homemade feel.
Breakfast is available on Saturday and Sundays with a menu that includes authentic menudo and gallina pinta and a variety of chilaquiles. This family-owned restaurant provides a welcoming and family-oriented atmosphere and aims to have customers leave happy with full stomachs and a smile on their face. The restaurant can accommodate a variety of dining and special event needs including large parties and private functions as well as catering for off-site events. El Trocadero also has a lounge that features a full bar and several video monitors, making it the perfect place to enjoy your happy hour, watch sporting events and other television programs. El Trocadero run wonderful drink and food specials from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for their daily happy hour so remember to invite your friends to “Meet Me on Main and Market for a Margarita”!
