Your Support is Sweet The 14th Annual Bras for a Cause
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, Soroptimist International of Valencia (www.sivalencia.org) is presenting its 14th annual “Bras for a Cause 2017.” The event on Sunday, September 24, at the Valencia Country Club in Valencia from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Event co-chairs Denise Dacorsi-Placencio and Missy Carter are excited to be co-chair this year’s event.
This is a premier fundraising event in SCV that attendees look forward to each year. “Bras for a Cause 2017 will consist of an auction of custom-designed theme bras and items for raffle. Funds raised from this event will minimize costs and ensure revenues for the fight against breast cancer.
Beneficiaries of this year’s event include The Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center and Circle of Hope. Circle of Hope improves the lives of cancer patients and their families by providing education and support services today, so they have a brighter future tomorrow. Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital was created through experiences of breast cancer survivors, patients and their families and the center is designed with patient’s physical and emotional needs in mind.
Come on out and show your support for these amazing organizations and have some fun! Tickets can be purchased at www.sivalencia.org/bras-for-a-cause. You ticket purchase of $100 per person includes lunch at the VCC; admission into the event; and the opportunity to bid on custom handmade Bras.
