Child and Family Center announced today that starting Tuesday, October 3rd it will begin providing outpatient substance use treatment services for adolescents and young adults with primary substance use disorders under the California Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) Program. Duration and direction of treatment will be determined by the client’s individual therapeutic needs, the diagnostic findings from the initial assessment and input from the primary referral source.
Services include groups up to four hours per week in which clients will learn about and discuss Early Recovery Skills and Relapse Prevention Skills. In addition, clients may receive individual therapy, group therapy and Case Management services.
