Christmas for Our Troops Hosted by Prayer Angels for the Military
A care package from home! Santa Clarita community members and businesses are being asked to help bring Christmas Cheer to our local troops overseas. They’re away from their families and missing out on holiday celebrations during their deployment. A great way to let them know that they are not forgotten, that we are behind them, and we are thankful for their service. Let’s put smiles on their faces as they open up a care package from their own hometown. Local schools are encouraged to make cards to go inside the packages.
November care packing days are scheduled for November 4 at COC Valencia Student Cafeteria, 9 a.m. to Noon and November 25 at Newhall Church of the Nazarene, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Additional packing days will be scheduled as needed and while postage funds are available. Sign up to help on packing days by email or at phone number listed below. Donations can be brought to packing locations during those timeframes or use the 24/7 donation bin for items at 21609 Oak Orchard Rd, Newhall, CA 91321 (by Master’s College).
