Christmas time at ZOE!
With Christmas just weeks away, ZOE Children’s Home located in Thailand, is in full swing, ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! Christmas time is always special at our home. Rooms get decorated and trees get put up, much like the way we celebrate Christmas here in the States. Part of Christmas for our children is also to do outreach, to give back to the community and help others that are in need. We want to instill in our children that though receiving can be joyous, giving can be just as rewarding.
One difference for some of our children living at the home is that Christmas was never a tradition for them growing up.
ZOE International is a Christian organization with the mission to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ and to make disciples of the unreached people of the world and to demonstrate God’s compassion through rescuing and caring for orphans and children from human trafficking. Our home in Thailand currently houses anywhere from 70-80 children. Some of our rescued children were orphans either at-risk of being trafficked or actually trafficked. In addition to the home in Thailand, we purchased 50 acres of land in the greater Los Angeles area to build a home to care for domestic victims of trafficking which we hope to break ground next year.
To be able to bring Christmas to the children living in our home in Thailand is a joy! This year, we launched ZOE’s Giving Tree where people can make a monetary donation to various areas within our organization. Everything that ZOE does from bringing awareness to the issue of trafficking to rescuing and caring for our children could not be possible without our amazing supporters. In order to continue our mission of reaching every person with the gospel and rescuing children from the horrors of trafficking, we need your ongoing support.
If you would like be a part of ZOE’s efforts in impacting and changing children’s lives, visit www.GoZOE.org/Christmas. We pray that you and your family have a blessed holiday season.
