Why We Wait for a New Year’s Resolution

by | Nov 27, 2017 | Recreation & Fitness

Every year we wait for the New Year to make resolutions for a life of health and fitness. Why do we wait? Is it because it just seems to hard to be disciplined during the holidays? Is it because we feel this year’s already a loss and it would be better to start fresh in the New Year?  Neither are good reasons.  Far better to reasonably enjoy the holidays versus over indulgences or no enjoyment.  And so many say “I’ll start tomorrow, next week, next month, or at the new year. That’s just writing off their today, their week, their month or their year.
At Ignition Fitness we take a lifestyle approach to creating change.  If you know you’re unlikely to make fitness classes after work, we encourage you to go before work. We coach our members on nutritional guidelines that are specific to their goals, preferences and lifestyle. Because, sometimes going against the grain only makes the cut tougher.
Our meal plans are more than just chicken and veggies.  We believe your body has great and many needs to perform at its best. And those needs vary for each person.
Make a decision and take action today!
Join in December and get your first month free, a new pair of boxing gloves and an Ignition Fitness T-shirt! And don’t just take my word for it, come in and take a class—speak to our members and see what gets them coming back day after day.
