“It’s time for Animaniacs” at the PAC!

by | Dec 28, 2017 | Community

The hilarious ‘90s animated television series “Animaniacs” starring the wacky Warner Brothers Yakko and Jakko—and their sister Dot!—will bring their shenanigans to the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) stage on Saturday, January 20.
“Animaniacs Live” will reunite legendary voice actors Rob Paulsen and Jess Harnell with original songwriter Randy Rogel for a fun-filled evening filled with pop culture references, wit and some good old slapstick humor that is bound to please audience members of all ages.
“Animaniacs” first aired on FOX Kids in 1993, earning fans young and old alike with its variety show format filled with memorable characters such as Pinky and the Brain, Slappy the Squirrel, and The Goodfeathers.
Produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, the show went on to win a Peabody Award during its debut season and five Daytime Emmy Awards during its five-year run.
A man of a hundred voices, Paulsen has had signature voice roles in “Pinky and the Brain,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” and dozens of other beloved film and television projects. Paulsen grappled with the possibility that his career might be over when he was diagnosed with throat cancer two years ago. Now cancer-free, Paulsen is excited to get back to work by taking “Animaniacs Live” on tour.
Tickets for “Animaniacs Live” range from $34 to $51. The performance will take place at 2 p.m. on the PAC mainstage.
