Bridge to Home’s Homeless Services Center Receives Makeover from Local Painting Company
Bridge to Home’s Homeless Services Access Center on Newhall Avenue is now bursting at the seams with people, clients and donations. In addition, as the primary homeless service provider in the Santa Clarita Valley, Bridge to Home has hired additional staff to expand outreach and case management services to people experiencing homelessness with funds from Measure H, the 10-year sales tax approved by Los Angeles County in 2017. To accommodate these growing needs, Bridge to Home has secured additional office space in the same shopping center and staff will be moving into the new annex in the next week.
ALLBRiGHT 1-800-PAINTING, a commercial and residential painting contractor, generously offered to paint Bridge to Home’s office annex this week, with paint donated by Behr Paint. We want to thank ALLBRiGHT 1-800-PAINTING and their employees who help serve with time and dedication in serving the homeless population in our City through their nationally known Paint-It-Forward program.
Paint-It-Forward has provided over $1,000,000 worth of free paint and materials to deserving families and nonprofits across the U.S. and Canada. More information about Paint-it-Forward can be found at https://www.allbrightpainting.com/paint-it-forward/.
With furniture donated by local area businesses and the Weingart Foundation, the new office space will serve Bridge to Home until a permanent facility can be built on Drayton Street.
