Congratulations Matthew Nelson 2018

Matthew Nelson is the Chief Executive Officer for the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita. For over 10 years he has worked with this organization in different capacities ranging from Newhall Branch Manager where he maintained an average daily attendance of over 128 children while managing budget cuts to Director of Administration where his was responsible for managing the organizations’ operations for two full service facilities and finally his role as Chief Executive Officer, a position that entails overseeing staff and program development. His dedication to his work and the families he serves has resonated throughout the non-profit world and we congratulate him on his endeavors. When he is not managing finances, and overseeing projects at work he is a loving husband and father to his wife Angelica and four-year-old daughter Isabella Marie. Angelica wrote, “You are our hero. I love the life we have created together. We both have callings that serve both children and our community. You make our family’s world better with your presence. Our daughter, Isa, will know the strongest love I’ve ever experienced in my life, and that is one of the greatest gifts anyone could ever give. We love you and are so proud of you.”
