Help Support Santa Clarita's Very Own Community Garden

As far back as the 1890s Community Gardens have been part of the American tradition.  That tradition is finally coming to Santa Clarita.  Our first Community Garden is scheduled to open in March of 2011.  The garden will be located in Central Park and will provide individual gardening plots for local residents.

Administrative Medical Assistant Program Back at COC
Due to strong demand, College of the Canyons Community Education will again be offering an administrative medical assistant (AMA) training program to students, beginning in March.
Eighteen people successfully completed the college’s first 11-week AMA program, which concluded in December 2010, prompting college officials to bring back the popular program for a second run.
