The Amgen Tour of California, the largest cycling event in America, which will travel nearly 800 miles throughout California from May 15 through May 22, is back in the SCV. The sixth annual event will be another spectacular racing competition for fans. Santa Clarita will host the start of the final stage of the race with riders racing to the overall finish in Thousand Oaks, completing more than 800 miles of an eight-day event.

Among these was Santa Clarita’s very first skate park, which was a hit in the community right from the start. Skaters from all levels and even BMX cyclists enjoyed spending their days on the 12,000 square foot facility for a decade.
