Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass is, of course, a well-known classic story written by Lewis Carroll. Complete with the whimsical characters and topsy-turvy storyline that we love, this version is told as an original work for ballet created by the Santa Clarita Ballet Company.
The Santa Clarita Ballet Company is a non-profit organization founded in 1995. They are dedicated to encouraging development of young dance talent and to bringing valuable, affordable cultural arts to Santa Clarita and surrounding communities. This June, Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass will showcase the artistic commitment of the Santa Clarita Ballet Company by featuring young dancers from all over Santa Clarita who train with the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy. While a few of our youngest cast members will be stepping out onto the stage for the first time, for many this is a pathway to a lifetime of dance. Santa Clarita Ballet alumni have participated in prestigious dance programs throughout the nation, including the American Academy of Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Hartford Ballet, Ballet Met, Milwaukee Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and University of North Carolina School of Arts, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Washington D.C. Ballet, to name a few.
The Santa Clarita Ballet Company is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
For reservations and information, please call the Santa Clarita Ballet at 661-251-0366. The Santa Clarita Ballet Company is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. Ticket purchases and table sponsorships are tax deductible.
