“Just say no,” may have become a common theme in the fight against the use of drugs, and the thread of that simple, yet effective campaign rings loud and clear every quarter at the City of Santa Clarita’s Dads and Moms Against Drugs (DADS) program.
DADS is the brainchild of Nick Ferry, a Valencia High School student, who along with his dad, Councilmember Frank Ferry, started the voluntary drug education and drug testing program. Recently, Dallas Cowboy Matt Moore made an appearance at one of their quarterly meetings held at City Hall. For more information, call the City’s Community Services Division at 661-255-4965.
