Nearly 250 people gathered at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Awards Luncheon, held on Saturday, February 11.  The awards luncheon took place at the beautiful Skirball Cultural Center’s Ahmanson Ballroom in Los Angeles.  With the help of the community, the Light the Night Walk raised a record breaking $1,315,589. “We awarded our top three fundraising teams for SCV Light the Night,” states Chandra Rulf, Light the Night Campaign Director.  “Team Evan, Girlfriends AGAINST Cancer, and Citibank each raised over $14,000 for the Walk!”

Funds raised by teams and individual walkers at Light The Night support lifesaving blood cancer research, as well as educational materials, resource information, and support services for patients and their families.
