This event honored the children’s artwork. Art affects children cognitively, developmentally, and socially and it emerges from a child’s thoughts and observations.
They look for answers as they explore with different mediums. Creativity is one of the greatest gifts we can give a child. Using their imagination to create and learn through art is a benefit they will have throughout their lives. As children learn through the process, this event encourages the families to explore together the steps they have taken to create their masterpieces.
