Get ready for another exciting event at the 41st Annual Boys & Girls Club Benefit Auction, Heroes Among Us, A Gala Celebration, which is set to take place on Saturday, June 2, to benefit a great cause. The auction will take place in the Gateway Promenade Shopping Center, located at 28776 The Old Road, in Valencia.  It will begin at 5 p.m. and continue 11 p.m.
You won’t want to miss out on an evening of gourmet food, entertainment and fun!  Bid on over 50 live auction items along with hundreds of bid board items.  Some of the items up for grabs are Dodger Dugout Club Tickets, 14-Day Princess Cruise to the Hawaiian Islands, a private home in Maui for seven days and much, much, more!   
Put on your best cocktail attire and join the Boys & Girls Club as they celebrate the everyday Heroes Among Us who make a difference in the life of a child.
Now in its 41st year, the Auction will be chaired by Bert and Jane Boeckmann of Galpin Motors Family. “We are thrilled to serve as co-chairs for 41st Annual Benefit Auction benefitting the Boys & girls Club- for the second time,” states Bert and Jane. “We believe ‘Heroes Among Us’ is a fitting way to celebrate and acknowledge the great works of many unsung, everyday heroes.  From teachers to children overcoming great obstacles- or firefighters and police protecting our communities- to the volunteer that gives tirelessly to make the world a better place—and especially those who serve in the military—These people truly are the Heroes Among Us.”
Auction proceeds will supply nearly one-third of the critical funds needed for the entire year of operation of quality after-school and summer programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley. The Club serves over 2,400 children between the ages of seven and 17.  Their mission, “to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”   
Tickets for the Annual Benefit Auction are available for purchase online at www.scvbgc.org.  General Admission prices are $25 for two people. Reservations for dinner at the event are $85 per person and tables start at $650.
