A Night a the Coconut Grove Honoring Cameron Smyth and Margo Hudson. We are proud to announce the formation of Santa Clarita Valley’s newest upscale nonprofit to support local charities.  “SCV Women & Men of Honor – Giving Back to Santa Clarita with Style.”
The new nonprofit will produce two major fundraisers annually: The Sweetheart Gala and the SCV Women & men of Honor Gala Dinner.
“I am excited to be producing this new gala.  We have recast the previously titled ‘Woman of Honor’ event to honor men and women who have made current contributions to life in the Santa Clarita Valley.” said Shelley.
Shelley Hann founded The Sweetheart Gala in 2007 to benefit the Cardiac Cath Lab at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hosptial.  This annual event is to be held the Saturday before Valentine’s Day.
The SCV Women & Men of Honor Gala Dinner will be held Saturday, September 8 at the Hyatt Regency in Valencia.  The event will honor women and men of exceptional contributions to the Santa Clarita Valley.  The inaugural dinner will carry the theme, “A Night at the Coconut Grove”.  It will honor Cameron Smyth and Margo.  Funds from the event will be divided among existing nonprofits in the Santa Clarita Valley.  We look forward to your support in being part of this opportunity.
