It’s time to recognize the entrepreneurial successes of those in our valley, and there are many.  The Magazine of Santa Clarita, along with the Valley Industry Association, SCV Chamber of Commerce and SCV Economic Development Corporation are pleased to present the first SCV Leadership Awards.   

Vote for your favorites, recognize and celebrate our local businesses and their achievements throughout the Santa Clarita.  It’s simple and free to vote, and you can vote more than once for an individual, business or non-profit organization.  Winners will be determined based on the number of votes received, and will then be honored on Thursday, August 16 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Valencia, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are only $35 per person.

The eleven categories include Minority/Woman Owned Business Award, Non-Profit Leadership, Best Community Spirit, Innovation of Product or Service, Family Owned Business, Business Leadership, Rising Star, Small Business (1-50 employees), Medium Business (51-200 employees), Large Business (201+ employees) and Entrepreneurial Success.  If you know of any businesses that fit into these categories, vote for them, and give them the recognition they deserve.  You can download the criteria online for each of the nomination categories
