SCV Sheriff’s Foundation Opportunity Drawing for a Princess Cruise for Two

There’s a ship leaving town soon, and the Sheriff’s Foundation wants you to be on it. The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Foundation and Princess Cruises are joining together for an Opportunity Drawing for a luxury Princess Cruise for two in an effort to raise funds for a much-needed mobile command post at the SCV Sheriff’s Station.
“We’re extremely grateful to Princess Cruises for this timely and generous contribution,” said Foundation President Ken Wiseman. “This is a great opportunity for residents to support our hard-working local law enforcement officers and get a chance to win an incredible vacation at the same time.”
Tickets cost $5 each and are available at the SCV Sheriff’s Station, AMS Fulfillment, KHTS AM-1220, Confidential Data Destruction, The Magazine of Santa Clarita and Valencia Acura. There is no limit on how many tickets an individual can purchase. Tickets are available now through October and the raffle is scheduled to be held in October.
The lucky winner will receive balcony stateroom accommodations for a seven-day cruise for two to either Mexico or the Caribbean.
Proceeds from the raffle will go toward the purchase of a new mobile command post to be used in emergency situations and at special events. The new mobile command post will be equipped with the latest technology, replacing the existing, outdated one.
The Foundation’s fundraising goal is $200,000.
“The new command post will be extremely beneficial to our local deputies,” Wiseman said. “We’re looking forward to not only raising the funds for this important piece of equipment, but also sending someone on the trip of a lifetime.”
