Get Out Your Dancin' Shoes

It’s back!  Rockin’ Summer Nights is here once again and the Westfield Valencia Town Center is the place to be in the SCV this summer.  Get your boogie shoes on and dance the nights away!  July 7 through July 28, every Tuesday night at 7 p.m., Town Center Drive’s “Town Square” will be transformed with a rockin’ outdoor stage, lighting and music of different genres to entertain SCV families and adults alike.

Join Westfield Valencia Town Center as they welcome the Radio Disney Street Team and Letters to the Editor, an American pop rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area, on Tuesday, July 7.

Rockin’ Summer Nights concert series will continue with the “Stars of Santa Clarita” on Tuesday, July 14.  The night will host three local talent groups selected to perform. Over 50 participants sent their demos to the Westfield Management Office and the three selected were Cherri Bomb, Divebar Superstars and Fentrunk.  Watch these exciting performances as they take stage to rock out for their own community.

Bring on the polyester and bell-bottoms and disco the night away on July 21 with the Boogie Knights.
Originally formed in October of 1992 as a Halloween gag in Los Angeles, The Boogie Knights became an instant hit.  They took the live music scene by storm and have inherited a worldwide reputation by performing on various MTV programs and at major sporting events, live shows across the nation and overseas as well as made appearances on network television shows and films. Don’t miss out on this evening of 70’s
entertainment as the Boogie Knights are claimed to be “The greatest disco revival show in the world.”

Eighteen-year-old actress and singing sensation Mishavonna will be taking the stage on Tuesday, July 28 at the Rockin’ Summer Nights concert.  Mishavonna has been singing professionally since age 13, and has pursued her music career as a Country Music Artist, having her first EP, The Edge of the World, out on iTunes.  In July of 2007 she also received the “Golden Ticket” to Hollywood on Season 7 of American Idol.  Though she did not make it to the semi-finals, Mishavonna continued to perform live at community events and has been heard on country radio stations worldwide.

Westfield Valencia Town Center has selected the SCV Youth Project as the non-profit charity partner as the beneficiary for all donation tickets sold.  Donation tickets will be available each performance evening at the Westfield Information Booth.
