Dealing With Hyperpigmentation

Hyperpigmentation also known as those unsightly and upsetting brown spots are a tricky skin issue.  Once you get rid of them, then they seam to creep back up.  After experiencing a myriad of things with my clients, I think I have had some pretty great results that I can share with you.  When dealing with stubborn pigmentation, I have found that starting with a light peel is best.  After the light peel is finished shedding, a lightening cream is used nightly for two weeks.

This will assist in stabilizing the pigmented area, while the beginning peel has first introduced a signal to prep the skin for further shedding.  Next, a little stronger peel is administered.  Once that peel has finished its duration and the appropriate healing time has commenced, then a dose of microdermabrasion is introduced, which has produced marvelous results.  What my clients have experienced is an amazing brightening and more even toned skin.  Of course there may be modifications made in order to provide the most tailor made recipe for each client, but in the past few months, I have been extremely happy with what my clients and I have achieved. Don’t give up.  Take time to do your research and reveal the skin you’ve always dreamed about.

Monthly Reminder:  Are the inner tapes in your mind being a little too critical?  So, often I listen to people and the one thing I constantly experience is people do not give themselves enough gentleness.  What I mean by that, is that the inner tapes of ourselves are extremely critical and in some ways not forgiving.  Forgiveness is such a divine quality, but the first understanding of forgiveness is not necessarily to forgive others, but it might be even more beneficial when we forgive ourselves.  It could mean forgiving ourselves of certain thoughts we are having or deeds we did or should have done, but no matter the event or thought, becoming more loving and gentle with ourselves can then give way to being more compassionate with others.  Check out our new website at gwskincare.com .
