The Santa Clarita Valley’s first water agency is celebrating 60 years of delivering clean water to the public. (Or, is it 100 years?)
Now in 2013, after a series of recent strategic initiatives, the Newhall County Water District (NCWD) is prepared to meet the long-term future needs of its residential and business customers as a highly efficient organization.
But before talk about where the water utility is headed, let’s clear up the question of its true age.

Looking for a fun event for the whole family? Assistance League presents their annual Operation School Bell 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1K Fun Run at Newhall Park Sunday, May 5. Check in and registration for the race (formerly Footsteps), starts at 6:15 a.m., rain or shine. Prior to the 8:15 a.m. start of the 5K race, children age 10 and under can register to take part in the Kids 1K Fun Run.

The KHTS 2013 SCV Home and Garden Show and Emergency Expo, presented by KHTS AM-1220 and produced by High Impact Event Resources, is returning to The Hyatt Regency Valencia at McBean Pkwy and Town Center Drive on April 27 and 28 for a full weekend of fun, bargains, useful information, prizes, and freebies for the entire family.
