Gifts from the Heart

Getting a Great Fitting Bra

Does the back of your bra ride up?  Does the front go south?  When you pull your bra straps up, does a little part of you peek out of the bottom or the top?  These are things that just make us crazy, a bad fitting bra.  All women have muscles in our chest that stretch and create breast sagging as the years go by and the last thing you want is breast sagging.  In fact, a proper fitting bra will help to delay the stretching of those muscles and skin. This will give you a much younger looking appearance.  We even look thinner with our breast lifted off our mid-sections.

The Santa Clara River is a part of the City of Santa Clarita in more ways than one.  While providing a home to many species of plants and animals, the river also annually brings together thousands of volunteers who dedicate their time to ridding it of trash and debris.  2010 marks the 16th year of the City’s River Rally Clean-up and Environmental Expo.

Supporting Those in Need It’s as Simple as Looking Under the Sink

Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity and responsibility to give something back by becoming more. Anthony Robbins

It’s just that simple to give.  An interoffice email was sent out to our staff at The Magazine of Santa Clarita requesting items to donate for the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry.  Little did we know that by the week’s end, we had four bins of donated items to give.  It was as simple as that, yet it meant much more to those in need.
Did you know that Los Angeles County is considered the hunger capital of our nation?

Hidden Images in Art

As beautiful as art can be, sometimes there is more to see than first meets the eye.  Some artists are known for hiding images within their paintings, or the art of camouflage.  Vincent Van Gogh is said to have hidden images within his works, but there is some controversy about whether those images were placed intentionally by the artist, or whether they are created in the imagination of the viewer.  However, present day artists can verify that they have placed hidden images within their paintings.
