This is the time of year that many of us start planning our summer vacation – a much-needed break from our day-to-day responsibilities and an opportunity to rest, have fun and re-charge.  Unfortunately, it is often the people who are most in need of some time off, those who are caring for an elderly family member, who find it the hardest to get away.
If you are the caregiver for an elderly loved one, it is understandable to feel overwhelmed, or even a little guilty, about leaving town.

What inspires you?  Is it music?  Is it witnessing a beautiful sunset or watching a dance recital?  Does a great meal prepared to perfection and served with candlelight inspire you?  Whatever it is, it greatly impacts the quality of your life.

Whether we want to make more friends, excel in our career or find true love, confidence has a key role in success.  So many people struggle with social anxiety, “being themselves” and relaxing enough to “close the deal.”  We know what we should do and remind ourselves that we have nothing to fear and yet... that’s not enough.  We can become the shy, awkward person who misses out again and again on opportunities.
Wouldn’t it be great if we felt we could talk to that girl or boy we’ve been crushing on?
